Kieron Bloodworth – 15616970

The reason I chose this image is that I like how ambiguous it is. While a lot of people know who the individual in this picture is, no one knows what she is promoting, or what she is attempting to tell the viewer. I also like the text in the bottom left corner, as it shows that there is more to the image than what is actually being shown. This was achieved by merely cropping the original photo. One more thing that made me choose this photo, is because of how she is looking directly at the viewer. I like this as it makes it feel a little more personal

This picture was taken by another student. The reason I chose this one is that even though you can only see a small segment of the full image, most people are instantly able to recognize what it belongs to, thanks to it being a very distinguishable and popular brand. However, it could also be advertising for a different brand. It is left open to interpretation, thanks to how the person has taken the photograph. One more thing I really like about this picture is how it is able to stir feelings in the viewer, most people will grow hungry upon seeing this image and crave the food that is displayed within this photo.
